So is the Week 2 trash talking going to heat up as the week progresses? I have to say the schedule has been brutal with three difficult challenges in a row (including Heat which we are submitting for now). Nobody must feel very confident.
I had forseen an easy walk in round 2 with my early score, but it's dropped significantly and my confidence is moderately shaken. However, I do have a Heat entry that I managed to do after hours of brainstorming in case I move on. The prospect of a possible Pedro matchup is a bit unnerving, but he's gotta make it first.
I may not update the brackets right at the rollover since I'll be in Crater Lake and am not sure of the internet access there.
Who's predicting upsets this round? |

I'm pretty confident of a round 2 victory ;)
EP was the first time I have EVER seen a score above 7 (after 17 votes), I'm now hanging on to a 6 by a couple of 1000's. I've entered heat with a stonker and fully expect to catch the wrath of some DNMC peeps ;)

Feeling pretty good about a round two advancement here as well... :) Don't know about anyone else... xept maybe Doc, who always seems to come up with the brilliant idea... but I think this 'Heat' thing is going to eat some of us up alive.

Well not really. I bummed out early in the MS Tournament too :) But I couldn't pick a nicer person to lose to :) |

Not much trash talking this week peeps?
I'm playing with myself this week but can't seem to keep it up!
Am hoping this stays above 6 as I get to cross another goal off my list and have back to back 6's, that would be nice :)

imho my heat entry will be (another) 6+ and it will need a darn good submission to take my opponent through to the next round so jenesis or keegbow you'd best be on your best game! (Larus told me to say that as he needs to save face).

Flying solo this week as well Ecce. Too bad in a way cause I had a pretty good score this time around and hate to think I've met my quota for the month. Going to need alot of help for the 'heat' challenge I think... :)

Hey guys,
i am quite a bit out of the loop - traveling in Ukraine/Russia, right now in Crimea, typing this using a 24kb modem at the moment :). But I am still hangin on, actually doing pretty good on E-portrait (7+, believe it or not). Too bad the next challenge is on "heat", kinda hard to sheak in a travel shot, sounds more like a setup challenge to me. I still managed to take a picture, but I feel it probably wont' fly too high :(. When I get back, I maybe tell the story of how I produced my "setup shot" in a hotel room without any props or light or tripod or pretty much anything.

Alright Keegbow, I've got my shot in for Heat but I don't think you have much to worry about in regards to my Env. Portrait shot. It's above my average but it isn't breaking any records. :-)

My Enviro Portrait is doing so bad I didn't even enter "Heat" so good luck in the next round.

Gar. I'm back from Hawaii...had a wicked shot for heat and when I went to upload it at the business centre they were having server issues. the only net available was webTV...no uploading, no editing, no submitting.
so dammit...P's out. although i might just make it into success or failure. I haven't slept in a few days, so you never know ;)
