That's a pretty powerful statement. BSSM is one "those" records that will always have a place in my collection.
Since I have been putting together a new stereo network, I guess I owe it to myself to check this out. ;) |

I'm looking forward to photographing them. It's amazing how so many young people are into them... I remember them being popular when I was a teenager.

hmmm....I must be getting old or the english language has changed a little.
:D
VH1 was playing the video a lot and saw it about 10 times while I was in the hospital.
That was a LOT of work to put together and quite well done. |

I still have "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes" as my favorite, since it was the first I heard back in 1984!!!!

I'm still working on Blood Sugar Sex Magic. It's their Sgt Pepper...a classic that will live on for many years to come.

Yep. I did. This morning in fact. Only had a chance to listen to about 8 cuts so far but I would agree that it is some spanking good material. Can't say much else just yet. |

i LOVE this album.
does anyone have any insights on the meaning behind naming the first disc "jupiter" and the second disc "mars"?
Anthony had a KROQ interview a few months ago, way before the album came out, and he briefly said something about why they named it that way, but i can't remember it clearly cuz I didn't really understand it when they were talking about it back then =/ |

Its a fantastic album, I wasnt that keen on the last one. But john frusciante is back at his best on this, when an album inspires me to pick my guitar up I know its good.

I'm a huge fan as well. Has anyone seen them live? They will be in Salt Lake on Aug 16th.

Just picked up the CD and listening to the first disk now. Sounds good so far.
Thanks all for recommending this one. |

I have listened to the whole thing now... it kicks. I like it a lot.
Word of warning on the new Tool, though. It may not be for everyone. I have only listened for a while but so far its very dissapointing to me. Still, the little stereograms on the disc package are cool. |

I didn't like the last Tool CD either, just the most popular single on that disc which really was overplayed. |
