Today in the mail, I received a copy of the National Institutes of Health Training Officers Conference Program that has one of my photos on the cover:

I also had the cover of the 2002 Champaign-Urbana, Illinois Christian Business Directory:

Both of these covers came from the people emailing me from my website, asking if they could use the photos. Of course I said yes in both cases, and I let them use them for free. I know they aren't really mainstream things that everyone will see, but it's fun to see them myself. And the funny thing is, both were shot with my crappy, less than one megapixel, Sony Mavica.

I've also had a few photos published in Lighthouse Digest Magazine. They were photos of Concord Point Lighthouse buried in snow after a blizzard and surrounded by water after a hurricane. Those I submitted to them.

Which leads me say.....show us you have had published.

Congrats!
I've had quite a few published in regional magazines, but I had this national cover recently:

I'm also having photos in fRoots and Songlines in the next couple of months.

Contratulations. It's a pretty good feeling to get published. I had several pictures published in New Hampshire 24/7, part of the America 24/7 project.

This is one of them.

Yes, in a national weather magazine, in the local children's hospital newsletter, a text book in Japan, some brochures in Ottawa, a Ducks Unlimited poster, probably more things I can't think of right now. Next month (could be in 2 months) I will have a picture in another national magazine, Cottage Life.

These two were on the front page of the local paper:

The entire series was broadcast on television.

Just found out yesterday that one of my photos is on the new San Mateo County map put out by the Convention and Visitor Bureau.

It was a pretty tiny picture when published but my dolphin's tail was in the Monterey County Herald last fall.

Each month, I get to photograph a resident of our county for our local monthly magazine. This was the person for May. He was such a nice man, a 79 year old locksmith that probably thought I was pretty silly when I came in and asked him to pretend to play a guitar with an old skeleton key. But he did it, and with a smile too. :-) The other couple of folks I've photographed so far are "Steve Spurrier" and "Elizabeth Taylor". They're just residents with famous names. It's been a pretty fun experience so far. :-)

I used to be with a theater group and did all the promo shots for them. They were all in the Boulder Daily Camera. Here is the last one I did. The picture was taken with my little 3.2mp Fuji camera.

I volunteer my services for the local Girl Scout Council's PR department, and they use a photo every now and then in newsletters and whatnot. ;-)

I send some of my sports photos to the local paper. They are getting me some press credentials...and give me an ad for free. Just a local paper but they give me photo credit. Good enough for now. I have had pictures published twice. About 5 photos each time.

Not much, but I've had a few in the local newspaper here, as well as on these websites:

//www.summerfield-murexproperties.com/Texas.html

//www.drugfreegreenville.org/

//www.themanegrind.com/

There is a band that contacted me to use one of my pictures on their website but I can't find the email, the link, or even remember the band...some folks on the west coast if I recall. Anyway, that's the extent of my "published" work. :)
