Hi! My name is Lolli Pup and I just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful things you all said about me during the challenge. My humom, Deannda kept me informed of your wonderful compliments even though I didn't really need anyone telling me how wonderful I am! ;)
If you don't mind, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I see my humom didn't put my whole story with my picture like she did with her "precious" Bug picture of the King Juniper. I am a foster dog in this house but I have heard the humom say that I'm here to stay since I'm so old and have pretty much attached myself to her with glue. She has tried to give me to other people, to find another home for me but I know where I belong and that is here, protecting her from the Evil Dog called Vinnie and the other Hyper Dog named Haley. I may not have any teeth (I only came with one to start with and it got pulled right away) but they know better than to mess with the Lolli Pup.
I was found wandering on the streets in Elmira and the nice shelter lady Helen called Deannda to see if she knew anyone who could take care of me because I was so scared and frightened. Deannda brought Juniper over to meet me and that crazy dog tried making puppies with me! I mean, "REALLY! WE JUST MET SIR!" But my humom to be, Deannda just laughed and said, "Well, I guess he likes her!" So she took me home.
She has been there for me when I had to get my last tooth pulled, it hurt and she held me and got blood all over her brand new shirt. I thought for sure she would be mad at me and hit me like other people have but she just cuddled me and stroked my head and told me it was okay. That is when I started trusting her and protecting her. The first night at her house she left me with the big scary man though and when they let me out in the fenced yard I went to look for her! I found a hole in the back fence and I WAS RUNNING! I heard the scary man calling me but I had to find my new humom, why would she leave me so soon?
Well, she didn't find me, another man did, he was nice though, his name was Frank and by the time he found me I was pretty tired from running so I let him catch me. OH NO! ANOTHER CAGE! HUMOM! WHERE ARE YOU?
So I'm sitting in this cage at another shelter and the phone rings. Frank answers it and sure enough it's my new humom! Yeah! She found me! She asked Frank to please stay there and she would come right away and save me. Again, more confirmation for me that she was the one that cared and the one I would never let get away because when she came and got me she was crying and worried that I had left her. She told me that she had to go to work and the big scary man wasn't scary at all, he was really nice and if I gave him a chance he would feed me and a love and take good care of me too. I didn't beleive her at first but over time I realized she was right.
So now we have a routine every night when we go to bed. My humom carries me up the stairs (I can only climb 3 or 4 at the most) and then I run around upstairs to make sure everyone is okay. Then we head to the bedroom and she lifts me up on the bed and then RUBS MY BODY ALL OVER until I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Then I run up to the head of the bed and burrow under the covers and rub up and down the Hudad's back and scratch it and rub it and roll around. If he's not on his side he rolls over so I can do this. Every single night.
So that is the story of how I came to be the Queen of the Neuferland Zoo. Thank you again! I love you all, unless of course you're going to try to hurt my humom or her family then I will be forced to growl, bark and gum you to death! Sorry, that's just the way it is.

Lolli pup here, thank you for your kind comments.
alfresco? I don't sit, I roll over so you may have the pleasure of rubbing my fat budda belly (that is what my humom calls it) for good luck! Here is a sample of said belly: Lolli's Belly WARNING! This link leads to a naked dog! You have been warned!

Lolli, have you considered writing an on-line journal? |

Actually my humom's mother, guess that would make her my hugrandma (?) keeps telling her to keep track of all our writings and get them published but she's a chicken and said she wouldn't have a clue where to start. I think she's pretty good but what do I know, I'm just a PlayDawg Centerfold, you know how airheaded we are!
