I did it again. I spent most of the day yesterday taking photos for the my selected challenge, studied each one carefully, chose a photo, and submitted it. Today I went through my photos again and realized I didn't submit the best one. How did this happen, again? I thought I was being so careful and objective but once again I chose a lesser photo. Part of my problem is that Sunday is the perfect day for me to shoot because I have the most time and there is less traffic, making it much easier to get around in this traffic clogged city. However, this does not allow enough time for me to study the images sveral times so I can make certain that I have chosen the right one. It's just something I have to deal with. Of course I am extremely pleased by what I captured and I know that is the most important thing but I just wish I was able to select the best image a little faster. Has anyone else experienced this same problem?

I hate it when I have more than one or two possibles...but I just blame it on Mr. Murphy, and console myself that if I'd chosen one of the others, I'd still probably feel the same...

That's unfortunate, Tim. :0(
On a brighter note, your images are usually exceptional ... (I will stop here to put away my wide-eyed "I am a fan of Tim's work" face away - hehe)... so I am sure what you submitted was great. When the challenge is over, post the other one in your portfolio! :0)

I did the same thing this week. The lesser one is at 6.3, though. I had waited for the right challenge for this shot, and darned if I didn't send in the grainy one after eyeballing the thumbs.

Last week I missed the deadline altogether for bridges, being frantic at the last minute trying to decide the best one.
