Across the bottom of each page is line of links - home, challenges, etc. Can we get a link to our profile added to this line? There are a lot of times when i am at the bottom of a thread and want to get to my profile for something and it would just eliminate the step of having to go home or scroll back to the top of a page to get the link.
Ok...I am lazy. But it is the only important link that does not show up on that line. |

Well I don't know how you have your preferences set. But I show the maximum number of posts per page. So scrolling back up is cumbersome and having to go back to the home page via the link at the bottom just to get to the nav bar to get to my profile is also cumbersome. As stated, it is the one important link that does not appear on that bar.
Just a thought..I am not really lazy, just suggesting something I thought would be useful.
Plus I access the site from 4 completely different formats which all work differently. This would solve a lot of nav problems for me. Again, just a thought.

My post was sarcastic, hence the :)
I also have the max post in my prefs, but I just hit my home key if I dont feel like scrolling..
Its not a bad suggestion, I was just razzing ya.. :)

I saw the smile, just took the opportunity to emphasize the suggestion. At one office I use a tablet and most of the nav is by a digitizer pen. This is where it would be most helpful. Another office I use a laptop wIth one of those touchpads and it would be helpful there too. Then I have the mouseless system in another office (don't ask) and then the 4 computers at home each with different devices (graphics tablet, wireless mouse with a busted button, touchpad, infra-red pointing device) just a nightmare sometimes when I bounce between systems. The biggest single thing that would help in all these systems is to have a link to my profile at the bottom of the page with the rest of the links there. |

I like this idea. Go lazy people! Or just sit. Either one. YAY |

I too use the max for post and use the simple shortcut of hitting the key to return to the top of the page. Tada. ;) |

I'm sorry - but I must know: what is it in your profile that you need to refer to so often? :) You were the one who wrote it, right? |

Actually, if two clicks is close enough, to a single link you can hit the 'top^' link and then click you name at the top of the page.

Between the pics and photogs I have as favs (well deserved btw) as well as previous threads posted to and my own pics, there lies a lot of the stuff I want to reference/link to/post in threads. It has nothing to do with what I have written there and everything to do with how I use the site. |

I see what you're saying. I do this kind of bouncing around as well. It is not a big deal at all, but, if it were just a matter of a little simple, easy, quick coding, since the other links are already there, why not? I can see where it would be a little convenient. It makes just as much sense as the other links that are there. After all, they can all be 'gotten' to by going to the top too. |
