My entry in "Cinema" is perhaps one of the most beautiful I have taken, IMO, and certainly one of the least-processed I have entered on a challenge. And it goes up against Nasti, the Mistress of the Setup Image. Excuse me while I weep....

I am entry number 81. I'm going into it pleased with my shot - I did the "think of a title, then go shoot" thing - and I know full well it's probably not DPC-friendly, per se. Which is cool. Lev seems like a really nice guy and all.... :-)

I had lots of opportunities this week to shoot things, events, places and people that I ordinarily don't get near. Finding a fit for the DPC letters was difficult, but i think I got a winner...of an idea. Downloading pics now, so it remains to be seen if what I think i got is really what i think I want.
Not a set up, well, not one i set up anway. Cast of thousands too.

Thats my dilemma too. Had to choose between a DPC friendly image that doesn't look much like a movie poster or submit an image that looks like a movie poster but isn't DPC friendly. Which way will score better I don't know but I'm in.

Still sorting the images from the week...
Got shots of:
Churches, log cabins, a war, an execution, the President, his wife, a fashion show, a HS senior, kids and dogs, street scenes, historical reenacments, medical gear, concert, crowds, rodents roasting over an open fire...no macro shots though, and no night shots.
Are you worried?

Argh!! Ran out of time this week, I couldn't get to my dream shot for this challenge - had to go with plan "B" (actually, it was plan "C", but moved it up as I couldn't get to plan B either). Damn day job!

I've been sweatin' this thing out all week with no ideas, no photos and no time .... finally this morning the perfect title came to me, now the hard part will be squeezing in the time to shoot it which probably won't be until later this evening. But that's me, "Last Minute Jen". I just love a challenge!! :-)

I got a pic, I stuck with a three word title, and I was #143. If it goes as my shots like this usually do, I am on my way to 5.7.
