Need help - Pick 2 - DPChallenge Forums

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

The hospital I work at is having a photo contest in a few days. Each employee can enter up to 5 photos total. They can be in the same category or different categories. Categories are Scenic, Animals (Pets), People, and non-U.P. (open category for shots not taken in the Upper Peninsula).

So far these are the ones I am definitely entering:

- Animals (Pets)

- non-U.P. (taken at the MI GTG in Frankenmuth)

- Scenic

That leaves me two more I can enter. I have it narrowed down to these four scenics. Please help me by telling me which two you would choose.

(airplane trails have been cloned out on the print version)

You probably dont want two similar shots, so I sould say one and two (going across).

But that last waterfall is really nice also.

that's a toughie- they are all good but I guess I'd least likely go with 312314

(but it's good too!)

FWIW, I'd say your strongest is Winter Wonderland, while your least strong is Surrounding Beauty.

Because judges are likely to be really picky at that stage, there is what could be interpreted as a slight hot spot in the other very good water shot.

But for your other entry,consider the fall color image (Reflections of PIcketts Dam)which is gorgeous.

so far it seems everyone is in agreement with Reflections of Prickett Dam - a personal favorite of mine. So, now we're down to just one more to be picked. Winter Wonderland is in the lead, but I would still love more input.

This one for sure. The other is a harder decision! I love the scenic you have already chosen. I think you are going to slaughter the competition ;)

Thank you for the vote of confidence! If I win one category I'll be happy - and $100 richer. Plus, my photo would be displayed in the hospital in my department for the next year.
