I wish I could take credit but the Site Council does not have access to schedule challenges. Even if we did, I'm on a SC-vacation this week. ;-)

Holy Places, with no description.

Am I the only one that feels that was a very wise decision?

Dag nab it! I was hoping they'd hold off on holy places until AFTER I got my new camera. :)

Wise AKA rushed to get it scheduled and couldn't come up with a good description. :)

I went on the Sacred Bridge today. (I'm not thumbnailing it in case you think it's an outtake - I planned to upload it anyway, before the challenge was announced.)

depends. to me a holy place isn't a building but a place in nature. ie. woods/forest area usually less travelled section. JMO

Dang! If I had known this, I might have brought my camera on my 3 hour evening/night bike ride by the river and bird sanctuary. In the 4 months I have been riding that route, tonight was probably the most picturesque bar none. There were gorgeous herons and egrets and birds I don't even know the name of flying slow and low as well as close in gorgeous warm evening light with a gentle mist on the way out and on the way back, there were reflections in rice paddies and ridiculously sweeping panoramas in broad expanses of a glassine river/inlet. Stunning reflections and big skies with soft, soft color gradients reflected all over the place.

bleh... It has been raining every evening since I got my camera and I would imagine that tomorrow will be the same...

It is too late right now to pack up and ride another hour out this evening (the place is inaccessible by motor scooter)...

Not true. I have kids. The toilet is the only "quiet place" in the house (the only room with a lock on the door). I had never thought of it, but yeah, it is my sanctuary! :-)
