What a great learning experience the 30 day self portrait was. So many challenges come from not being behind the lens to focus! However this run will allow you to find other vic..er.. subjects and focus. The goal for me is to get past my mental block of taking photos of other folks. So for this it will be pictures of other humans portraits or candids. If you are interested, pipe up here and if there is enough interest then I will build a list of links and we can start June 1.

I'd love to do it, but I'd also love to wait until I'm in Vancouver.. which will be June.
So if you guys have it... I'll just have to do it myself at a later date. |

It certainly was and still is a great learning experience. I must admit that I still wonder why on earth I decided to participate, lol. But it's great to see what all of you guys created so far. For me it was a learning experience, because I never would have thought that I could come up with a nice idea for a photo every day. It didn't succeed well every day, but so far I'm very satisfied.
I think it's a great idea to do this with other subjects. But I won't participate immediately, first I want to have a break and really think about it, lol. |

i'm up for waiting unitl arty can do it too. we could do a little one in may, say for the middle two weeks, if people really want to keep being challenged like this. it's a great learning tool, making me explore new things in post processing. maybe we could have a 'do a new post processing thing every day for 14 days, to one image of your choice'!
that way we'd have a break from the pressure of shooting and processign every day.
obviously, the post processing gods would get bored with this quite quickly, but the newbies like me would love it...

June 1st sounds good to me.
What shall we do for the shorty in between? Maybe 24 days/24 hours? Would that fit? Or maybe I'll just stop doing such a haphazard job at my regular photo blog for those three and a half weeks. :)

I was into shoot from the hip, but I dont think it would be as fun to do it on my own. Ill see what you guys do next and maybe Ill join in then!
