Your right I too apologise for hijacking a worthy thread.
I forgot to acknowledge Bear for all his contribution to this site and my learning :)

Robert, I just added you to my faves, because I really apprciate and enjoy your comments and thoughts here on DPC :) All the work you have to teach everybody sommething of your skills, is heartwarming.

Great job!

I'd like to thank Becky rjkstesch for her help and encouragement. And I want to thank anyone who has ever given me a comment or took the time to answer my silly questions (this includes Kirbic and Bear_Music, whom I think have answered quite a few)! Thanks again, you are all awesome!

I pick me!!! But seriously though, I want to thank a lot of people, all of the ones in my favorites list + the site coucil members and last but not least D&L for keeping this site running year after year.

I want to thank Jokull specifically though, he is the one that pointed out DPC to me and who knows, I might never have found it if it weren´t for him.

There are so many wonderful people here, but graphicfunk is the man. So helpful, talented and above all just a great guy.

Dont fret the hijacking...happens every thread in some way. :)

I will add. People that vote and comment on a regular basis are the life blood of the community. And they dont get near the recognition they deserve.

So thumbs up to all you guys and gals.

I just want to put a mention out there to myself. I'm a loving and hard-working individual that, even though I rarely have time to contribute in any meaningful way, somehow manages to stick around a piss people off or make them love me even more.

I laugh, I cry, I throw things at my monitor when my score dips below 6.

Somehow, I manage to stick around and lurk, and have become the most popular invisible man on DPC.

So YAY! for me, cause I can.

Very tough to single out individuals, as the entire community has been invaluable to my growth as a photographer. Thank you DPC! Thank you Drew & Langdon! Thank you SC!

There are a number of photographers however who have encouraged me personally and consistently throughout my stay here. Thank you (in no particular order) smilebig4me1x, Joey Lawrence, Jutilda, skiprow, stdavidson, graphicfunk, CalliopeKel, mystical_princess, Alienyst, dahkota, alfresco, Judi, Rikki, jenesis, jpochard, philup. I know I've overlooked some important ones - so please forgive me. Like I said, EVERYONE here has been terrific!

I'd like to thank Tom Robbrecht. Unbeknownst to him, he directed me to DPC after I'd been enjoying his website for some time. Then, after seeing his Footwear challenge submission, I PMed him to ask about it, and he very kindly sent me information, with pictures, on how he achieved the excellent lighting in that shot.

He doesn't really know me, but he brought me here... so THANKS Tom. :)

I don't want to name any one particular name because I want to thank EVERYONE on DPC...

this is just like school with the druggies, class clown, prima donnas, and zenfull spatterings every once in a blue moon.
