I finally talked my kids into an almost-real family portrait yesterday...they were all dressed up for the premiere event for Shattered Dreams, and while they all were clean, dressed, pressed, and in semi-decent moods, I got out the camera. They didn't even say the usual, "Aww Mom!!" ;)

I know these have flaws and we were just in our front yard, but I can't wait to print and frame them! I just wanted to share. Are your families this difficult to shoot? ;)







This was actually a test shot before we got going so that I could check my exposure...but I kept it because it just looks like my guys and shows their personalities so well:

Lovely series of shots Laurie. I just love that last one though.....has to be my fav!

Oh those are great Laurie!

And yes, there's only 3 of us, but it's hard to photograph the daughter anymore, and dh is always at work when the light is good lol. Everything I take anymore is completely spontaneous. Easter pictures were not very good this year lol.
