I take it you mean # of views, # of votes, score, etc...?
Make sure you have the checkbox selected for the following on your preferences page.
My Scores
Show scores and comments for my submissions during voting week.
The score, etc... will show in the upper left area on the DPChallenge home page for you.
I hope I'm not misleading you as I can't remember for sure what Registered users vs Members see. |
Thanks! |

I got this great symmetry going on.... Out of the 6 previous challenges I got (in percentiles) 16 -> 27 -> 31 -> 72 -> 58 -> 27 and heading to another 16 on this one. What a great bell shaped curve - otherwise known as peaking too early :-)
Must admit that I got a great laugh from the background too cluttered comment on this last one [I know, I should be greatful for any comments] :-)

lol ... of course, the real trick is to find an animal that DOES understand that you're taking it's picture.

I don't think the problem for the entrants in this challenge lies with the definition of "candid"...I think it lies with the problem of what makes a "good candid." Most of the shots are "candids"....are they "good"? Do they follow general rules of composition and lighting? Or are the backgrounds distracting, the subjects unappealing, the "story" lacking, he faces obscured in darkness....? Lots of things are difficult to shoot. Most things are difficult to shoot successfully. Meeting the challenge topic is only half the challenge all the time. |

KaDi...I agree with your statement whole heartedly. I don't believe my shot is that good..but I did believe it was candid. Like I said..maybe my meaning of candid is different than others. But I'm learning! |

Are you giving away your photo? Did you just describe the image in the challenge?
:(

You shouldn't identify your shot until after the challenge voting period is over; after that you can talk about it as much as you wish. I hid your post where you identified your shot. Hope you don't mind, it was that or delete most of it :) |

im new to this, i had originally chosen what i thought was an ok candid shot but at the last minute i changed my mind and entered a photo that was of poor quality, can i delete a submission now or is it to late, it's a true waste of peoples time to look at it. I should have gone with my original pick!!! Guess it's all a learning curve |

Hi Emyloy, don't self DQ ... use it as a "I can do better than this" opportunity. We all make this mistake .. and DQs in the long run aren't a good choice ... :)

Kari... how you holding up for a score? Just wondering if you are kicking my butt in the tourney or not so that I know whether I need to go out shooting this weekend for the next challenge.
