We were at the park this afternoon for a picnic, so naturally I had to take some snaps...and I just wanted to share the guys with you. I'm biased, but I think I have some of the most handsome, freckle-faced, rough and tumble sons in the world. :)

The 7 year-old:

Thanks...nah, they're not outtakes. I wouldn't dare enter a kid shot knowing the voters here...no matter HOW cute my boys are. ;)

Those are all great. Funny how they all smile alike yet convey a different personality.

yeah they're all really good, but that third one is a great angle.

The three boys couldn't be any more different from one another, and I tried to capture little glimpses of their individual personalities in the shots. The oldest is very contemplative and methodical; the middle boy is DEFINITELY the middle child and is all rough-and-tumble (notice the cursory bandaid and wounds from a recent run-in with his little brother); and the baby is angelic and sweet...when he's asleep. He's no wimp and takes up for himself NO PROBLEM. He clocks the other two when need be and sometimes when he needs not to. ;) I wouldn't trade anything for them and I'm proud to say that they're all intelligent, thoughtful, and respectful.

The processing was using the Virtual Photographer plugin filter called "Classic" in the black and white section. I didn't tweak any of the default settings. I shot them in jpeg using the Tamron 28-75 lens.

Not sure how these would be considered "candid" as they are posing.

Love the last shot by the way.
It really conveys to me that he has a warm heart and is still innocent compared to his brothers.
