i went to downtown burlington vermont today and took some photos of peoples dogs - with permission.

i was surprised how willing strangers were to let me photograph their pets - while at the same time knowing they wouldn't let me photo themselves... the siberian husky is no more than 8 weeks old. the others are full grown.

would like some input...
canon 50mm f:1.8 - AF

i've emailed the owners these images in hopes they will be happy ;}

Very nice photos, Tim. I left a few comments.

Why would you be surprised people would let you take photos of their dogs? Why would anyone care? I was at the dog beach last week and snapped dozens of shots of every interesting looking dog I saw and nobody said anything or gave me anything but a smile. :)

I'd post some, but don't want to hijack yer thread. Nice job on those shots.

Not to sound like a smart ***, but aren't all pet shots candid? I mean really? Cool shots, by the way! :)

Sorry to hear. Beautiful dog. I never thought I could be very attached to any animal, but it's hard not to when they are so attached to you.

Some beautiful captures. I'm sure the owners will love the photos.
Sorry about your dad. Sending prayers to you during this difficult time.
