Here are a few bridges shots that I have done in the past... maybe they say something to you and maybe they don't... They definitely say something to me :)
Bridge of Sighs III
Bridge of Sighs I
Rail Tressle
Riverbend Park II
Linn Cove Viaduct
I enjoy architecture shots and bridges seem to fascninate me... especially my local steel railroad bridge. If you have one of these available to you, you can get some really great photographs if you work it...
I think this is gonna be a great challenge :)

I'm curious... What do they say to you?

They say plenty to me and i will keep that to myself because I don't expect anyone to see it the same way I do :) I would prefer not to have my own interpretations of my photos challenged :)

Well, you won't know without telling... ;-)

So be it. Nobody challenges them. I was just curious what was your "drive" behind these photos.
Btw.: I like Bidge Of Sighs I most. Another great example of leading lines :)

My drive behind my railroad bridge photos is a simple fact that I like to be at that place. Why I like to be at that place is probalby key to what the photos mean to me...

I went out and did one shoot so far, but I'm not really happy with them. This might be a week that I don't submitt anything, if I can't get better pictures when I go out tomorrow. |

Great shots! I just wish everything up here wasn`t still covered in snow, so I could take a good bridge shot also! |

John, I love these shots, but that first one actually did make me sigh! The contrasts of the rich colors of the bridge with the icy gray background flora--wow! If you do more like these, I haven't got a chance! Especially since I live in the desert with not a whole lot of interesting bridges. Of course there is one thing I've already learned from this group: it's not the subject matter--it's the photographer. Good luck with your shots everyone!

These are wonderful. I especially liked the St. Peters (?) bridge in Prague. One of the most famous bridges in the world, and the light you captured is stunning. I gotta tell ya, you've got a way with skies! I love the B/W image in Budapest with the bridge centered and the clouds doing those cool things. You really know how to bring out those subtle and striking shadows of the clouds. Going to Prague for this challenge?
