I purchased a PopOut Action for Elements 4, and with the zip file it has instructions that seem fairly simple. My problem is this, to begin it says to:

Go to your Photoshop Elements directory on your hard disc. The directory name will vary depending on which version of Elements you have and where you intalled it...blah blah blah blah blah.

I'm no computer guru, how and where do I go to find that so called directory on my hard disc?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm assuming you have windows so here goes:

Click on My Computer
Click on your C drive
Click on the folder called Program Files
Click on the folder that says Adobe Photoshop Elements (there may be two folders, one that is Adobe, then you'll have to click it and THEN click the one called Adobe Photoshop Elements)

That is what you are looking for, I think. I'm not a guru myself so this could be mindless babble. :)

Find the My computer icon. Double Click on it

Find you C drive- double click

Find the file folder called program- double click

Look for Adobe, or PS Elements in the folders. Double click. :)

OK...I was going down the right alley, NOW...when I click on the program fils folder, it says....these files are hidden, these files contain programs that help keep your computer running properly...you should not alter these files. THEN, there is a place to click to show those files. SO, it's ok for me to do that? This is a fairly new computer set-up and it must have been set up at factory like that.
