The above shot is from Daragon Lady's "what was I thinking" portfolio. I like it because I have several of these "thinking" shots of my own!

I like the color in the background, how it incorporates the yellow of the subject and has the purple to compliment it. The DOF is also good.

This is a huge improvement from the original. A perfect example of eleminating distracting background elements to focus all of your attention on the subject
