I don't share the obsession with resolution in fine (no pun intended) art photography. Have you ever tried to look at an impressionistic painting from a 1 ft distance? How does it look? I think composition, lighting, mood are much more important than pixel count.

Thats the reason Ansel used a 35mm. Who needs all that resolution...

Everybody has there own opinions of quality. I prefer very large prints from scanned (200mb+) film files.
