I am not sure this is the right place to post this or if we are even allowed to post for sale items, but I assume we can. Please correct me if I am wrong.
So I am selling a like new Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 ED, the 2 rings model. It was bought in july 2004. It's really in a new condition. No dust inside. No scratch on glass. No sratch on barrel. I'll take some picture tomorrow. I have all original box, blank paperwork, invoice, hard case. I am throwing a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter since it can't be use with my new 70-200 AFS VR (can you see me smiling...). This lens + teleconverter retains autofocus capabilities.
This lens is still in production. It's the next best thing with after the 70-200 VR. It is said both are equally sharp; image quality is on par. I was always impress with image quality of this lens.
Before posting this on Ebay, I want to let someone here have a chance to get this beautiful lens at a reasonable price. I am asking 925$C (about 800$US). It retails at 1300$C or 920$US + taxes and no teleconverter.
I can ship pretty much everywhere. I am ready to cover a portion of the shipping charge if it gets too high.
Thanks |

Bump.
And wanted to add that it comes with the Nikon lens hood, a 30$ item. Forgot to mentioned it in my original post. |

I'll be interested if it is the AF-S version. |

Very tempting. If it was a 300mm I'd probably jump all over it.
Just a quick comment, The shots of the lens look very pro. great lighting. |

Thanks echoman. It's natural light. However, seeing all of them side by side, I notice the white balance is not identical for each.
For all others, I'll stop bothering you with my bumping; I have just sold it locally.
