starting to do alot of outdoor shots of my son's little league games. does anybody have any sugg. on filters. I've got a Cokin U.V. on pretty much 24/7. would a circ pol. work better? also, is one brand better than the other? Thanks..

UV doesn't do a whole lot beyond protect the lens. Circular polarizers are primarily used to reduce reflections (they can also make skies look a little more intense) so I don't see much use for them in shooting baseball...unless you want to make the sky look cool. Some will argue that quality increases with price. There are some sites that show comparison shots, particularly for UV filters, but the difference is pretty minute.

you will lose 2-stops on a polarizer so this may limit your ability to freeze action. I wouldn't think you would need any filter to shoot baseball.

wasn't so much the basball thing as much as just outside with bright sun and people. I was never much on people pics.
