Nice entry. The B&W does seem a bit flat though. But overall, it is FUN and creative.

The first challenge Shoes had 469 entries. 469 pictures of shoes!! It was a loooooooooong challenge to vote on.

Hmmmmmmm Drew or Langdon have a foot fetish?? lol

Yeah...I don't get it. We just did shoes. With all the suggestions that have been submitted why do we repeat such a narrow topic so close to the last one? Doesn't make sense.

I'm looking forward to this one. Had an idea jump into my head on the way to work this morning...can't wait to set it up this weekend! Should be fun. ;^)

May I make an observation, not that anyone will listen.

The challenge is "Footwear", not "Shoes".

However, because of the narrow mindedness of alot of viewers and voters, this differance will not matter.

I had that same observation - should make it a bit more interesting though still very crowded challenge.

I have a closet full of shoe boxes...can I use those? Or should I pull the shoes out of the box first? ;^)

Hmmm - does this mean thigs such as ski's, snow shoes (the tennis raquet things), crampons, stilts, nail polish, socks, nylons/stockings/pantyhose and lawn aeratores all count too?

Could be interesting...

Hmmmmm ribbon winner = a nude model wearing lawn aerators before a sunset, holding a flower and an egg......hmmm and water drops in there somewhere too.

Oh! I was thinking more of a line of four nude models some with shoes/boots and nylons/stockings/ some barefoot with obvious ankle bracelets and toe rings, back to the camera, holding hands and watching a beautiful sunrise just after a storm that paints a delicate rainbow in the top left of the picture. Reflections from the lake show the slightly distorted images of the front of the models, thereby maintaining their decorum.

But they may be too obvious I guess.

Back to the drawing board...

I don't see why not, they're all footwear.
