I think this will be my first challenge at DPC where I didn't receive at least one vote for every photo that was entered in the challenge... I'm currently about 50 votes shy of at least having a vote from everyone who submitted a photo :)

same here.. You'd think that atleast everyone who submitted would vote.. kinda odd to me..

I guess I'm one of the culprits... I have limited time to vote and I like to comment on basically every photo. Unfortunately 250-odd photo's is just too much in the limited time I have available.
In fact, it's been a really busy week so I've only managed 70 votes so far, but every one of those votes has also included a comment (often larger than the text field on the screen). My only way to place more votes is to stop commenting... What do people really prefer?
I guess there is just a lot of people like myself who can manage 100 votes or so but not many more (unless it's a quiet week). |

Not so odd, actually. I'm sure I'm not the only one that doesn't always have time to vote, even if they have submitted a photo. In addition, I usually vote less and comment more these days. I voted/commented on "Love" this week, but not on Rythm or Yellow, even though I have a photo in each ...

I usually go through and vote on all of the images in one sitting. I then go back through the week and add some comments, change votes based upon a closer look, etc. I pretty much always get 100% votes, and try to leave a long, detailed, in-depth comment on 10 to 15 images per challenge.

I'm about the same. Vote, come back, rethink my votes, comes back again... endless cycles of it. :) I am trying for more comments each week though. |
