Just woke up to find this one in my email - so funny! Mind you, my wife, who was only half awake, thought I was mad and that I was hooked into some kind of "alternative" site...

Having seen this thread you can almost guess the responses:

Judi: B&W, sensual shot of a partial nude in killer high heels drapped over a bike
Rikki: carefully constructed rendition of the coming together of bi-focals and peanut butter (he claims to have neither - hmmm)
Fotoman: amusing shot of man dropping his pants to reveal a large smearing of green jello

Chuckle - not trying to be insulting here, guys, but this one has cracked me up!

Maybe we'll get a new cheeseman pic - only this time with high heels, bifocals on his nose, peanut butter in his moustache, a feather romantically placed in his mouth and green Jello slopped over his bottomâ€Â¦

Bifocals often do not have the tell-tale line across them as they used to in the old days. I know - I wear bifocals and they have no line. So how do the voters decide if they are in fact bi's?

So far I'm kinda thinking of using bifocals and peanut butter.....amd maybe slip a pug in for good measure. lol However - if I remove my bifocals I can't see to shoot the pic! I just failed another eye test last week - including the depth perception and color blindness portions. (maybe that's why I can't ribbon?)

Smear the peanut butter over the bifocals and nobody will know there is no line. ;-)

Personally, any eyeglasses will be close enough for me when I vote on this.

Help me understand this...can it be two of the same thing? or one of each of the items? ie...can it be two high heel shoes only???
03/11/2006 07:07:55 AM · #37
It says choose exactly two of the following.....
so could I choose 2 bikes or 2 bifocals.
just trying to stir things up, i don't really believe that's the case.
sorry i said anything.
i won't even bother posting this.

So a pair of high heels - is that one or two things? Or since it wsa plural, can you use a whole closet full? The "Feathers" was plural, so can you use as many as you want and it counts as one?

I think I will just mold a set of high heels out of peanut butter and call it a day..

Thanks! I'm assuming it's what we call jelly and you serve it as a dessert perhaps with ice cream or cream??

It's flavoured gelatin that you add hot water to and then pour into a mould and put in the frifge to set.

Have I got it right else my entry could cause a few head scratching moments!

Thanks for the link, Trey. We crossed posts and you type faster than I do or I talk too much!

Chuckle - it is jelly as we call it. Probably lime jelly may be best here...

But Vanilla sauce is best on Jello - yummy!

So if you have some high-heel shoe molds laying around (who doesn't!), you can easily make some fancy Jello shoes - cool!

Or as we actually have in our cupboard: Gooseberry Jello.

I hate to ask about a translation of the description, but does 'exactly two things' mean there can only be 2 items in our picture? Or can we use other stuff and find a way to incorporate 2 of the items?

I would think since the description says "exactly two things", I would assume that only those two things you choose can be in the photo. Not people, feet, fingers, faces, spoons -knives-forks, children, dogs, cats, etc. If it says exactly two, that is the premise I am going on to not have others vote it down for adding extra pizzazz for humor - which just may happen for adding more than the "pick two" and "exactly two" refers to in title and description.

This doesn't mean that others won't add more to jazz it up, but I personally don't believe added extras should be in the photo.

This is what it says: Choose exactly two of the following and use them in your photo:

I interpret this in a way that anyone that includes two of those items in a photo is meeting the challenge. The photo can then have other items in it. But that's only how I see it.

That's how I saw it too, Are 62. It should have two of those items listed, by using "exactly" my thinking you can't use 3 or 4 or 1 of them. Then use those two items in your photo. I don't see where it limits the photo to just those two items, just that 2 should be incorporated in the photo somehow. Otherwise I would think it would make for some very boring pictures. Just my thoughts on it.
