If it's really that important to you, forget the skiing and go to this. You will always be able to ski again another time.
That being said, I'd choose skiing. Well snowboarding, really

There's been another topic recently that was not so far removed. I think the only things that it proved were:
- People who think Bush is a war criminal think he is a war criminal.
- People who don't think Bush is a war criminal don't think he is a war criminal.
- Most peoples' recollection of history is not as good as they think it is.
- Google is your friend, but it isn't necessarily good enough a friend to let you find everything to do with even recent history.
One of my friends was thrilled to meet (Australian Prime Minister) John Howard a year or two back at my friend's (and my former) workplace. If I'd been there I'd have turned my back on him, as a recognised form of silent protest. The case against Howard as a war criminal is not as strong as the one against Bush, but Howard has done precious little in his ten years as PM that I'm happy to endorse.

Air Force #1 flew directly over my house with the Slickness in it. I was hoping Clinton had the same fate as Woodrow Wilson in Pueblo when he was president, but we were not that lucky. :)
