That's because 99% of the population does not get bent out of shape when a marriage partnership (or friendship, or significant other-ship) includes the sharing of hobbies...such as photography. It's no big deal. Really.

I'm sorry. I guess I am in the 1% because my husband and partner is blind. But I would think on a site like DPC where there is to be no conspiring, it would be hard to tell if there was to begin with, much less publicly state that a partnership is alive and well. Just a thought that went through my head. It's no big deal.

I read the two and really don't see anything wrong, but then again they're not my photos. If there were ancillary messages/emails/etc I might think otherwise but these two by themselves? A flag, but not a big red flag.

Rose, please remember that the original reason the site was founded was so friends could get together shoot pictures and learn from eachother. Part of the strength here is the sense of community. We are not going to tell people they are not allowed to work together on projects, or where they can or can't shoot. :)

The collaberation rules are specifically designed to address specific areas of concern. They are not there to prevent folks from talking to anyone while working on a shot. Remember, this site is also about learning. If you can't talk to people about how to achieve a specific effect, it does make it much harder to learn.

The site is about more than just challenges. It's about community. I encourage you and others to work on building the communtiy. Share your skills with others, help others learn how to improve. If we all do that on a daily basis, this site is a great place. :)

Rose, there's a BUNCH of family units participating in DPC. Zoomdak (he of the beaches) is charliebaker's son, and his dad has helped him schlep stuff around and set up shots frequently. There's another couple, I forget who, before my time anyway, who took the Blue and the Red in a challenge with nearly identical entries. And there's plenty more. I've never seen anyone complain about it before...

Yummy mummy - An older woman who is found to be attractive.

I really can't see anything to be too concerned about other than the use of urban slang by a 33 year old man :) I'm sure there are far creepier things that a voter could have said. I think it's a little unfair to make cushla out to be the next

Mountain out of a molehill is MY opinion on this one.

Just look at the challenge entries - there are obviously quite a few 'partners' of one sort or another who shoot together for challenges.

Hey, its really no biggy to me. I just seem to have a warped idea I guess of what collaberation means. It basically comes down to not having someone push the shutter button for you, but that is about where it ends I suppose. In any case, I just thought it a bit odd so I brought it up. But if its ok with the rest, it is certainly ok with me. Nuff said.

And on that note- moving the conversation back to the topic at hand...:)

Given that cushla is logging on from the same ip address that you and GIS_boy are, if you think he's a stalker, you might want to get out of the house.

Given what MK just posted, does this dog (profile pic) look familiar? You may have a pet with an above average IQ! I'd check out your pet's friends. If you can match up one of the pooches with the profile pic I think this thing is solved! ;^)

LMAO...ok, hold it. First we have manic stating its a sister, but then that was changed to not a sister but really her. She is here complaining about a comment on only her semi-nude photos, which are coming from her own IP and under the username of cushla, which is really someone other than Gis-boy, who is yet another member here besides manic?

Ok, I guess I am the only one here that seems to find a problem with multiple accounts from the same household, but I would think this is a good example of why this shouldn't be.

And what happens to the comments then that most mulitiple household accounts have? Are they getting a lot of comments, which some seem to brag about, from their own family, friends, co-workers, sons, daugthers, etc on their photos and from the same computer?

Ok, ....LOL.I think I have seen enough. I am moving on from this thread now not to disrupt, but I won't leave it saying I have not been educated by it.

I'm trying so hard to hold my tongue here, and deleted my first post to "stay on topic" BUT ......

Get Over It!

And that's all I'm gonna say about that.
