Ever feel like you're running on empty? Can't think of anything to do, anything to photograph? Nothing seems to occupy your time or keep your attention and your mind just can't settle down on something to think about? Man I'm bored.

Hey I'm bored, but Kansas and Florida are out of the question. Although you're both welcome here if you feel like a road trip.

i know how you feel but it has to do with where i am...

ever since leaving the bay area i just haven't been inspired by anything but returning to the bay area.

I think a change in scenery would help me out...well maybe not, I'd probably be just as bored anywhere as I am now...what a pity. I'm going to go do some pushups until I can't move anymore.

Do you have any images on your computer that need to be processed? Any old images that you might want to reprocess?

Getting some exercise usually gets some blood to my brain...I just got done working out, feel great (but I, too, don't have an idea of what to shoot today). Hmm.

Or hop in your truck with your camera and gear and just drive...see where you end up.

Do a self-portrait if you don't want to go out...

Browse the images of those on DPC (and elsewhere) whose images move and inspire you.

Write a tuturial to help schleps like me...!

we had a layover in florida and i didn't have the energy at four in the morning to take any pics in the airport. i kicked myself later because it's a very surreal place. i've never seen an airport look that much like a shopping mall.

Wow! mattmac posted some good, positive ideas. I guess I'll have to do something instead of just comiserating. Actually, I'm planning to go to an the Las Olas Art Show and then to Flamingo Gardens to get some shots of birds as they are starting to display their mating plumage.

Las Olas Boulevard is an old, scenic street through old Fort Lauderdale. It is known for its art, great restaurants, and nightlife. This is the season in South Florida for art shows since it is too hot for most people in the summer.

This will be the third major show down here in the last month. I went to the Coconut Grove Art Show on President's Day weekend. That, I believe, is the largest art show in the country. Very difficult to display your work there, lots of competition. This time, I checked out mostly the photographers and their work. I saw a lot of good ideas and really got inspired. I'm sure there will be quite a few good photographers at Las Olas today also.

i live about ten blocks from los olas but i dont know too much about upcoming events and what not.

is it going on next weekend. maybe we can organize a DPC meet there?
