I've my 20d linked by USB to the laptop is there anyway that I can get it to display photos immediately to the screen, either in explorer or PS CS2?

many thanks

Open CS2 and open the file like you would any other file. The camera acts as another folder.....at least mine does.

Oops I might have explained it badly, I mean I take a picture and without having to 'download' the image just taken.... it pushes it to the computer . Not a big difference, but I'm sure it is possible.

Doesn't the EOS capture utility that came with the camera do that?

check out the software from Breeze Sys

They might have what you are looking for in some of the remote control software.

aaaah haven't looked into that ... I'll give it a go. I got the camera and headed out with it instead of reading the manuals :)

Not sure about usb connection but to go wireless you can get the transmitter WFT-E1 from Canon. You have to have the latest Firmware for the 20D for it to work.

USB works with the Canon software. It will pop up immediately on your screen (I've used it a few times) and has very fast response. I'm almost positive that there is no way to bring it into Photoshop instantly, though I could be wrong.
