I have to record a HUGE vote of thanks to everyone involved with the new CC Stats. They're very clear, very useful and serve as a really good prompt to work on a critique or two.

Love the changes!
My stats, however, stink...will have to work on that!
(Wish there was one more line: "x out of y of your critiques was marked helpful") |

Inspired me to get back to critiquing. I've been shy - but will do better. Aiming for one per day as a start. Seems doable :)

You haven't critiqued any photographs in the past two weeks.
Since your first critique on June 12 2005, you have critiqued 72 out of the 72 photographs you have selected.

I like it. The statistics are interesting. And surprising! I don't get the time to write critiques very often; I've only averaged one a week. Yet I see myself in the All Time Top 10 list.
I especially like the Recent Random Critique. I think it is useful to see what approaches others take with their critiques. |

Just one things, it may be just me, but could we have a summary of our stats on the front page? There are times I have time, but don't think about it -- and other times that I don't have the time and do think about it. I just think a bit of a reminder of what is in the queue and what we have done in a small box on the front page would help get us all thinking about doing more critiques on a regular basis.

Love the stats, I have been way to lazy recently and when I saw this thread this morning I have already done three. One thing I think would be cool is also if there were some way to let the people that get the critiques know that they got one, like an auto PM that gets sent, similar to the one you get when the site council requests proof files? Is that possible?

How about this:
On a member's profile page, a designation that that person is a member of the CC, and a link to allow browsers to look at their most recent (or all of their) critiques??
When I stumble upon a really well-written critique, I always want to read more, but currently have to go to the profile, and look through ALL their comments to find the CC ones. |

Since your first critique on March 2 2006, you have critiqued 1 out of the 4 photographs you have selected."
I've only critiqued one! (So how did I select 4???).
Bit confused....

If you ask for an image and rollover happens before you get the critique done -- the image is removed and you must ask for another.

Very minor bug, but after selecting a photo for review on the top left corner of the page in the box labeled Past 2 Weeks Statistics it says:
231 photographs have been critiqued by 42 different members.
There are requests currently.
Shouldn't there be a number of requests current? |

I tried that... I finished that critique and pulled another shot and now I got a number there... I don't get it. |
