the first shot of the flower, wow! brilliant! love the composition & the colours. almost looks like a painting. can you add a link to a larger version of the pic instead of just the thumbnail?

good stuff!

Copy the image number of your image.....numbers at the end of the url. Click on the last box on the right above the reply notepad and enter that number in there

it will look like {thumb]300269[/thumb}with the { replaced by [

BTW fantastic shot!!

when you're posting a reply or starting a thread, just at the top of the box- there are 5 small clickable boxes. click on the far right one (2 smaller squares), in the window that opens- add the image ID of the picture you want (you do this by opening the picture in another page, at the top in the URL there will be a series of numbers at the end, highlight just these numbers and copy them by holding Ctrl+C), in this paste the numbers by holding Ctrl+V (in windows only as far as i know). click ok and then when you hit post- you have a clickable thumbnail :) if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Try opening your image in another tab/window Shez. Copy the number at the end of the url (top of the page end of the http bit) Come back to your reply pad and click on the right end box (if you hover your mouse over it it says 'Insert Thumbnail Link to Site Image' Put the number you copied in there.

Try it again....see how you go

I know this image works when clicked-on, and blown up to full size, so am using this thread to say something to "EVERYONE WHO HAS COMMENTED ON THIS IMAGE" - "Argave Blue" A VERY BIG "THANK-YOU" - ESPECIALLY to the FOUR PEOPLE who have added it to "THEIR FAVORITES".....You make me feel so humble.....

I like the plant/flower one the best - good work! What is it exactly????
02/26/2006 06:38:45 AM · #19
It is an argave, which is a plant, a type of succulant..... Very archectual and quite abstract. It can grow to at least a metre in height and width. Often babies develope at the base, and the origional plant can form clusters of various smaller "Argaves" around it base.....

Sherpet, to post a thumbnail fo this:

1. Upload the image to your DPC portfolio and open it up

2. Look at the uRL/adddress bar at the top of your gbrowser; that will have the entire URL of the image, and it will end with a six-digit number

3. COPY the 6-digit number only

4. Open your post and click on the rightmost of the 5 icons above the text-entry field

5. PASTE the 6-digit number into the data field that pops up and click OK

that's all there is to it.

Robt.
