Here are a few outtakes I had for the yellow challenge. I didn't get any WOW factor shots this week for Yellow. I should have submitted one of these though... my entry is sitting in the high 3's right now!

Anybody else have some good out takes?

That's my out take :) nothing like the one I submitted. I asked the owner of the store if I could take some pictures of the shoe, and then asked if people buy them, and he said it was mostly surgeons! so they could write their names of them.

Here is my out take. I am sort of sorry I didn't go with this one but I am interested in knowing what you all think. This doesn't in any way give away the image I submitted to the challenge.
Thanks!

This was my other idea for yellow:
//www.pbase.com/image/13105284 Totally different idea.
I'm happy because my actual picture is doing well, but curious to know what people would have thought of this one.
Thanks!

OK, I can take a hint!
I like your picture, but I would have straightened it up to stop it leaning to the right. Also I think the title is wrong "Yellow Light - Slow Down" should be "Yellow Light - drive very fast, it's about to turn red!"

I really like this photo. I think it is very well done. I especially like it because you have removed all color from the image with the exception of the yellow. I would have scored this image at about an 8.
I am really interested in learning how one goes about removing all color except one as you did here with the yellow. I have Adobe PhotoShop 6. Anyone able to help? Maybe there is a tutorial or something somewhere?
Thanks!
Bill

I also really like this show. I like shots that are care free and not all set up perfectly. This shot has sort of a snap shot personality and I really like it. I probably would have scored between 7 & 8.
Thanks!

Now, is anyone going to let me know what they think of mine? :-)

Anyone remember the song "Oh Yeah" by Yello (spelled the same way it's spelled in the title of this thread)? I thought it would be great to get a picture of this one-hit-wonder group, but I have a feeling I would have been the only one who got it... :) |

Dodgy middle aged blokes with moustaches I seem to remember (though I may be way out there!). I certainly remember the tune...
"Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah
The moon... beautiful
The sun... even more beautiful
Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah
Beautiful
Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah...
Good time"
Classic! |
