Hello, fellow photo fiends! I have just finished updating my website...I have a lot more work to do, but I would love to have some feedback from other photographers. :o)

If you do havea chance to pop in & look around, feel free to leave feedback or comments in my guest book, or via pm. I would very muchly appreciate it!!

Does the website allow you to use flash? I've been experimenting with some free flash gallery components. You can check out my experiments at:

A simpleviewer example

and:

An Expose Example

For my troop website I'm leaning towards expose only because it can handle different albums where simpleviewer is for a single album. But I've seen simpleviewer used well at skiprow's website.

These are free components but sometimes the tool for merging the files together has a small fee.

Unfortunately I don't think it does.. At this point in time I don't have the money for a high quality website, so I'm making the best of a freebie. :o) I will definitely keep those in mind for the future though!!

Actually, I think your site will support flash. Ran into some sites on the main page that use it. Adding the flash components to your website is not that hard. Just need to copy some additional files and then insert an tag into your HTML for the flash component.

My brother was having difficulties accessing it today as well...perhaps they're having server problems?

I can't see any pics other than the one of you on the front page (Gosh - You're a cutie!!!).

Might be something to do with my network at work though...

I was able to see it yesterday. Maybe you hit the allowable bandwidth and that's why others couldn't see it?
I use the same site to host a few photos of my team. While it doesn't support flash, not even as a premium member. It does give you the stuff below for only $42/year. Not to bad for recreational use. Copied/pasted from their site.

I guess I'm confused about what is needed to support flash. My website is a PC sitting at my feet in my house. It is a Win2k machine running Apache/PHP. I didn't do anything special to allow the flash stuff to be served but I guess it could have been something enabled by default.

You'd need Macromedia Flash to SEE the flashes. But, the website has to be able to let you put the flashes on your website, which freewebs doesn't. Hope that helps.
