Gulp! :P Sheesh! Well I think I actually work better under pressure so I´ll at least promise to do my best Gary :)
Oh, another goal for me is also the same as for last year, to try and enter one challenge a week on average, 52 over the year but still send in something I like and not submitting something just for the sake of submitting. I fell a litle short last year but gonna try again this year and so far I am on track, just barely...

| Although I had 4 ribbons last year I doubt with all the fantastic photographers on this site I could duplicate that this year. I would be happy to raise my average score as I have done each year. This year I would like to have no score lower than a 5.0 and it would be great to get a couple in the 7.0 or above range. No tremendous goals other that to have a great time and learn alot!!!!!! |

I would like just 1 of my shots to score 8.601 or higher.
:) Now that's a heck of a goal.
My photography this year will continue to be less about ribbons and more about expression.

DPC Goals for 2006:
Score 6.5
Score 7.0
Score 6.0 on consecutive challenge entries
Get average up to 5.25 and keep it there (5.12 at beginning of the year)
90th percentile
95th percentile
Top 10
Ribbon
Sell a print
Have fun (done 01/01/06)
Non-DPC photography goals:
Keep my streak of blue ribbons at the county and state fairs going (currently six straight fairs)
Get out a lot more to photograph
Learn all I can about photography
Learn all I can about lighting

DPC targets would be to prove to myself that the ribbons I won (2 within the same week!) were not just strange coincidences. Bring my average score closer to 6. Try to overcome the hesitation of commenting, I nearly stopped after getting annoying pm's :(

- submit my first entry with my Canon
- beat my current highest score: 6.178

With all that talk about getting higher average scores I have calculated what I need to get my average score to a 6.00 ;
scoring a 7.00 in the next 37 challenges.....
When I only score sixes it will take more than 2000 challenges.
Same thing with the average vote cast, to get that one to a 6.00 I should give 27442 tens in a row.

Selected favorite photographs: 1200
No more self portraits for challenges!
Hard to set these goals for favorites because I'm right around pretty exciting numbers right now. The one's I have set as a goal seem pretty arbitrary.
Currently:
Selected by other users:
Photographer: 194
Photographs: 981 times
200 and 1000 are right around the corner. :)

My 2006 goals:
1. Score a 7+
2. Beat my highest rated photo score of 6.662
3. Try to get my average score up to 6.0, currently at 5.5442
4. Get at least one Ribbon, currently I have 0 :(
Ambitious, I know. But if I accomplish at least one of these, I'll be a happy camper.
Oh yeah, #5 would be to meet more DPC'ers and have more GTG's!! :-)

My 2006 goals
1. Enter at least 60 challenges.
2. Enter at least 20 B/W images in that 60.
3. Have at least 5 top 20 finishes.
4. Raise my average score above 5.7.
5. Comment on all images in at least one challenge. |
