ok...so that I understand....Anything can be done to the photo?? I'm not sure what the Artwork clause is... I understand that it can't simply be a photo of an artwork, but can a particular artwork be the theme of the photo if there are other items? Trying to be vague

I did my photo this morning. Woke up and took the photo and edited in about 2 hours right before work. I am going to gome home and re-edit some things I didn't have time to do this morning. I am not really sure how voters will react to my picture. It is going to be PREETTY different. I like the idea though and it came out to be my favorite picture I have done so far. I am nervous to see how it will do. |

This was fun. Had a Sheriff's vehicle stop and question me as it looked kinda' fishy what I was doing, then 2 more pulled up, now 3 squad cars and a lunatic at 2AM taking pics of (snip) - we all had a good laugh about it.
Certainly close to a good cause for a sobriety check anyway - HA!

Crap. Just got home to find this. Still have to shoot something for 7 Sins/Virtues tonight too which means I'll have to cancel all my Valentine's Day plans... |

Well, living in Australia, we are ahead of you re time wise. Only noticed the "24 hour Heart Challenge", before retiring for the night.
Early this morning, I asembled my subject matter, and camera and took the photos. I am really happy with my entry, so hope you all like it too.
This will be only my second challenge. Can't wait to see everyone entries..... |

Well...despite the challenge rules, I took my shot this afternoon, and what I entered is pretty much out of camera. This should be fun... |

well, after a very frustrating afternoon of realizing that i couldnt enter the shot i wanted to because my camera's clock was twelve hour slow i had to do some more shooting and enter something else. in the end everything worked out. I'm pretty happy with my entry, but im not gonna get my hopes up because every time i think something is going to do well it does horribly. we'll see how this plays out.... |

Well I am very curious to see what results we have at midnight. I wasn't sure what I really wanted to do so I took a chance and we will see how it ends up. Best of luck to everyone. |

I'm a bit frustrated because I only found out about this challenge at about 9.30pm (South Africa time). As I usually only work with natural light, this would normally have excluded me from this challenge. Coincedentally, the only photos I had taken 14 Feb were heart photos, so I was in luck. But it did mean that I couldn't benefit from the special rules. Hopefully one of these days we'll get something similar in a week-long challenge.

I'm done... my heart is now in your hands... Get it? LOL... I still think I might get DQ'd though I read the rules like 1,000,000 times.

I haven't had any good ideas lately, I tried to think of something to enter, but I couldn't come up with anything...and now I have a bunch of stuff to do...I'll get them next time.

I took a nice photo for the challenge, then I tried to modify it with PS in all sorts of ways. But, in the end I decided that my crappy PS skills trying to make a shot become something different just would not work.
So, mine is pretty much right out of the camera. |

Mine might be just too timid for this challenge but given the time slot and the fact that I had to do a shoot cut in too deeply. A simple image indeed. |
