since calenders are being discussed in another forum, maybe one challenge a month could be just that, the theme would be that particular month.

i think that's a great idea, kandy! the only problem might be that in one part of the world, July is summer and in another part of the world July is deep in the winter. we would have to figure out something that would say "July" (or whatever month) all over the world.
i think it's a good challenge idea, though...worth doing some research.

I'm not sure I agree. It might be interesting to see "July" from around the world. I like this idea a lot!

I also think it would be fine that the July pics look appropriate for the location, you could always ask the photographer if you felt the photo didn't meet the challenge topic and the titles can help explain.

Maybe after a year, throw a desktop calendar together with all the winners???
I think the idea of a month challenge is great and would really enjoy seeing what my winter in america looks like in the southern hemisphere. Really creative idea, great job... Dave |
