I was thinking possibly a challenge titled "Out of Place" or "Doesn't Belong." I'm new to the site so I apologize if this has been done before.
I don't even have a digital camera yet, so I can't play for now. I'm growing extremely anxious to get one. I'm trying to save up the money for it, but I have a newborn in the house that makes it difficult to. So for now, I'm living vicariously through all of you and I'm learning a lot.

This is a good one... Kind of like Stranger in a Strange Land (a few weeks ago).

Welcome. You can browse through past challenges to see what's been done before. I also recommend browsing the recently commented-on photos to read the more in-depth critiques which have been happening for a few weeks.
myqyl, you remind me that no one ever guessed what my "strange" object was. I guess the prize was too small... |

Seriously, can you reveal what the strange object it or are you still waiting for someone to guess? |

No, that's part of the complete medical examination kit laid out there. Particularly necessary when doing pre-natal, orthopaedic, or dermatological exams...
The out-of place object is definitely the big spiky thing in the upper left -- not something I'd want to be examined with anyway!
One more hint...I put in my comments (or maybe a forum post?) that I thought since DPC has such a worldwide community, one or two people might actually recognize it. Even though it's pictured in Joy of Cooking I would venture that it is more commonly found elsewhere than the USA. |

I think a moon challenge would limit many photographers here. Not all ar equiped for this type of shot.
Either that or we'll see lots of bum cheeks!!! :-)
