Walking to the train station to collect the wife.
Thought i would have another go at the local Abbey.
Shot this building numerous times before, but first time with my 350D
What do you thik? I really like it.

I am assuming since your shutter speed says 1 sec, that you were using a tripod. If so, I would have lowered the iso and let the shutter stay open longer, for less noise.

Also, I think I would crop it just below the fence that is in front of that building. At least I think it is a fence.

I agree with the iso. No tripod, balanced on a fence. Think i'll try it again sometime with a lower iso and a tripod. I like the crop with the slight reflection of the river. Thank you for the comment.

Since the image is obviously cropped (it's squarish) you may have room enough to rotate CCW and square the abbey up a little? I think that would be good. There's a nice mood to this shot. By all means bring a tripod (I keep mine in the var) and shoot at a lower ISO next time.

I like the clouds and the colors. Shame about the ISO, though.
