Inspired by this one by Gordon:
I went downtown and tried to recycle (bad word?) his idea for the off-center challenge. This is what I came up with:

While down there, I took some others, with different lenses, not really for the challenge, but for the fun of it. The challenge one is 50mm,
is 25mm,
and are 8mm.

I appreciate all the comments I received on the challenge entry. Please feel free to critique the others... I agree with Richard's comment that I should have attempted something from a different angle, although I _was_not_ standing directly below the center for this one.

Michigan's capitol... One of my favorite subjects...

Love the rotunda @ Lansing...

What are those pictures you have in your rotunda? We have governors' portraits... yours seem like saints of sorts?

Seems like every new lens/ camera sees me there





I think you probably needed to be more 'off center' for it to be really off center - more towards the walls or something to give a stronger leading line, perhaps.
