Oh, poor robs....that's too bad!! I've been around some hand fed ones that were darned near more cuddly than my cats!!

And, to TroyMosley.....tsk tsk! ;-) Eh, what can I say? I figured it wasn't what it sounded like, but it piqued my curiosity!

ladyhawk, you obviously didn't grow up in Australia, where flocks of cockatoos do make a lot of noise in their native environment. Just this weekend, there was a question in the Sydney Morning Herald, "Is there any bird noisier than a cockatoo at 6 a.m.?"
Actually, I think their raucousness is wonderful.
