Biggest storm of the year coming in on the Oregon Coast. Gusts to 100 MPH tomorrow AM. Gonna get gusts up to 60 MPH here tomorrow. Let's just hope if the power goes out, it goes back on in time for the Superbowl.
Should be some great wave action. Maybe a little too much action, but I'd still like to be one of the crazy people out there... |

I only wish the power would go out here IN TIME for the Superbowl. I'm a pizza guy. Wanna be sick or something that day! :-P |

I live in Forks, WA, not far in from the Washington Coast and we're not looking foreward to the rest of the evening. Wind's kicking up pretty good, and I know where my flashlights are. |

I already know what I'm shooting for broken. That's on Monday and that's two hours away. I don't think I'm up for two four hour roundtrips in one weekend. Plus I don't want to drive two hours and have it either raining so hard I can't keep my lens clear or have the police run me away because it isn't safe. |

Wow... make sure all your batteries are all charged up and get some pictures.
You are way too young to remember this but the the Columbus Day Storm that hit the Pacific Northwest was the biggest non-hurricane ever; bigger than the so-called "perfect storm" of movie fame according to the National Weather service.
This might be a good time for you to do a google search to review your local storm history. :)
