There are alternatives to the Labour party and Mr Brown. It's a bit drastic to move out when he is likely not to be there for more than a short period!
And where the blazes would you go?? I'm finding it difficult to find any country that doesn't have politicians in charge whom I dislike intensely!

The US would be good. I find it hard to believe that anyone is in charge - certainly not the politicians.

Well, as a Brit who has lived and worked in the US and travelled around a lot I think I will defer to Isaac Asimov, the great Sci Fi author on this one. He believed that you should never allow anyone who wanted to be a politician to run the country but rather you randomly selected someone to be leader from a list of suitable candidates and forcibly dragged them into office!
This would ensure that they would not be doing the job for the power and glory with a sweetner that if they did a really good job they would be allowed to retire from office a year ahead of time!

What a great idea! Like jury duty, it's inflicted on the masses at psudo-random rather than the few who want it. I certainly agree that the slimes that do want the job are the last ones you want doing it.
It would solve a lot of problems apart from that little bit about "suitable candidates" - the catch is that the asylums just don't have that many inmates [although you could make an argument that some are already from there]. :-/ |

whoa sorry I missed this didnt think it had got this far:) thought it was just going to die:)
I just dont like the guy.
I have always thought of tony blair as a great leader and would vote for him over and over but I would never vote for brown so I dont see why he should get power if tony blair leaves. If blair does leave there should be another election not just a hand over. |
