yeah I submitted but I don't think I will ribbon...it is hovering just under 6 at the moment.....

I just finished voting on this one and must say I was somewhat disappointed. I expected there to be some really awesome shots but only a handful really stood out for me. So many didn't speak romance without looking at the title. I entered this one and knew mine would probably be right in the middle which it is right now.

Then it must be the diamond rings, the hearts and other tacky bitter-sweet symbols and cliches like sunsets on the beach. :) I would not have submitted into this challenge if I knew I'd have to be surrounded by mostly shallow and unimaginative interpretations of romance. Romance is a very subjective word.
Giving a box of chocolates to a diabetic / lactose intolerant person.
Giving a rose to someone with flower allergies, a glass of red wine to a teetotal.. the list goes on.
It's either a recipe for romance or disaster !
It's interesting to see so many diverse images spanning across peoples various interpretations of romance when I was voting !
Will be great to see how this one plays out ;)

About par for my expectations. I wasn't thrilled with the shot but figured I had to enter some day. Was disappointed to discover I couldn't enter both Blue II and Romance. Ahh well...

My Romance and my Free Study scores are identical...all the way out to the 4th decimal place (a semi-decent 5.7805). I guess I'm nothing if not consistent. ;)

I love it when I step so far outside the box it scores me low....but what do I expect? The shot I did is romance to some but terrifying to others...but that is just like what David Newland said..."Romance is a very subjective word"

I went somewhat out of the box, but I don't love the voting response--I don't think I'll break 4!!! Ouch, it hurts!

Just noticed a lot of attention of voters to Romance challenge.
129 entries and 320 votes by now and for the Free study with 619 entries only 157 votes. People who have interred free study donâ��t even want to look at otherâ��s people entries. Isnâ��t it strange?

I dunno - someone brought my score down from a 6.50xx to a 6.4430 earlier....if that trend continues these last few hours of voting I wont do anything.
