I updated a few things on my site...but I dunno, I still think it's lacking. Do you think it would be better to have the photos displayed in the gallery as they are...or would it be better to just have a page full of say 20 thumbnails, when someone clicks it, it opens a new window, when they click the new window, it will simply close...
thanks.

David,
Overall, great site design. I did notice a couple things that could probably be improved.
- I love the gallery layout, but I could not figure out how to get from the gallery back to the main page. I ended up giving up and blanking out everthing after the domain name in the browser's address bar. You definitely need an identifiable "home" button there.
- The guard rail running through your head takes away from the composition of the photo of you on the front page. That's the first impression your site visitors get, so you may want to replace or reshoot that.
These are minor issues, though. It's a clean, well-designed website and with a professional look and feel. It presents your business well.

| Deapee, you have way better pictures of yourself. I think you should use one of them; the one you have up when the site launches isn't as flattering as it could be. |

A1275: Thanks...yeah, I don't know if I'm too into 'flattering' -- I'm thinking of going 'darker' if you will...but I will look into replacing that main photo...
club: thanks, good idea with the back button...gonna fix that in a little while.
EDIT: fixed.

I don't have flash player on this system so I can't comment on the gallery until I get home, so all I see is a site with a picture of a scary looking guy frowning on the front page.. lol
The layout looks nice, though. |

You might not be, but your clients probably are. That photo will be your first to potential clients.
It's not the best photo of you -- the guard rail is running through your head as I mentioned, plus your expression almost makes it look like you were caught off guard. You're not doing yourself justice with that photo, either personally or professionally.

OK...how's that one?
I'm going to put up a shot of the city of Pittsburgh there...but don't have one I'm happy with yet...
Then that main one will go into the bio section.
