Kit 18-55. I saw the parents of this lil guy tonight. They'd not seen this stylized version of one of their proofs and were floored by it. I'll reshoot this tot soon because of this shot and it was done with a kit lens.

I've found that you can get very acceptable sharpness out of the kit when it's stopped down to around f8. My highest scoring challenge shot so far, dawn's early light in the Wide Angle challenge, was done with that lens so you know I'm a fan of it.

I went back to my kit lens for portraits too. I had amazing results!! Now I have a 28-135mm and can't wait to try it out to see what I get but I still bet my kit lens will better!! |

18/55 ... which comes with most cameras and should have come with yours :)
