Well, I've been at it again, trying out a new technique. LOL This time layering textures (completely new to me, but I've had fun with it). I'd love to hear your opinions - I've posted some new shots. As always, I'll return comments (at least) one for one! Thanks!

Left you some comments, nice work. What software are you using to edit?

Great job Jimmy! I like how you're experimenting with the program. For those interested, this was asked in a prior thread and I showed some techniques on how to do it ;)

Play with layers and blending modes.

Thanks for the feedback guys & gals! I think I'm caught up returning comments, so if anyone else is interested, bring 'em on! :-)

In answer to your question AZKelly, I use Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10.

sweeeet. 'Specially the animals. Mind if i steal your idea? ;)

Sorry, cant comment right now, but it would have probably just been praise anyway. But yeah, definitely works best on the animals.

btw, did you use your own textures?

Working on returning comments now... Thanks! Keep 'em coming! :-)

kirsty_mcn: Steal away, it's certainly not my idea - I'm learning from other people's examples too. :-) And yes, I used my own texture images. I've begun taking shots of interesting textures as I run across them. Of course at first, I went out and got some basic ones to start my catalog/library - grass, hay/straw, rocks, leaves, then started adding to those as I found them: molds, lichens, mosses, fungi, gravel, earth/dirt, etc.

Good stuff man! Gonna be prints someday I am sure. Mixes tradition art with photography very well.
