To bad we all couldn't GTG and Crash a karaoke club one night.

I wouldn't be surprised if I end up having dreams tonight of a bunch of us with cameras, tripods, etc, walking around snapping photos and singing at the top of our lungs in 5 perfectly harmonious parts :-)

I must say that'd be one hell of a good time.

I believe it would and we would have to take our cameras. Make for some great candid and stand out shots.

Tried to get mine to work with my sons microphone, but no go.

I do have a CD that I recorded in a studio for my daughters wedding. It's the song

"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", the Celine Dion version.

If someone can tell me how to convert it for your ears online, I will do that? Won't be the same quality, as it was recorded in studio for high tech stereo sound, but it will at least be an entry.

You can take any CD-ripping software and convert the .wav file to an MP3 format.

Windows Media Player may work for you, depending on what other programs you have installed.

There is a free share-ware product called Goldwave that will work as well, just be sure to also download the LAME encoder they mention in the "help" section.

Well, I have it now saved in my Media Player. The rest is greek to me.

I am going to try and open a website using frontpage, where that is the song you will hear when you open the site. Maybe that will be easier?

Dang, I missed it, and now the link doesn't seem to work. Did you have to pull it?

Can my old I Love Alligators clip be my entry?

I think Paula might not like it, but Simon might get a kick out of it.

:(
I can't open any other than Leroy's (really good stuff) and Imagineer's (what program do I need to install to view that clip?) as none of the other links are opening for me...

ohmanohman.

I'm alright singing on my own, but the one time I had to cover background vocals for my band because our singer was just getting over bronchitis and her voice was still kinda weak...oh wow, that was a disaster. I can't sing into a microphone.

I'll give it a shot when I get back to my room and dig up my headset.

:( The one's that I can open sound all choppy (I'm on Roadrunner?) and when I try to get to Southern Exposure's I get

The web server returned a 404 error. This means that the page requested could not be found. The most likely cause is that the address was typed incorrectly. If this problem persists, please contact Knology technical support (support@knology.net).

I'd really like to hear some of these.

For the ones that you can open, try right clicking on the links and using the "save link as" to save the file onto your hard drive before you listen.

As far as Southern Exposure's files go, I think he (or Knology) pulled the files.

Ya'll don't hold this one against me... I had a little too much fun with MIDI samps and overdubbing :-)

I will put one of my songs back up but I can't put both, not enough room on my personal homepage. Which one would you like me to put up, If Tomorrow Never Comes or Unanswered Prayers?

Scott, it is very cruel to make us choose, but if I HAVE to, I'll vote for Tomorrow Never Comes.... no, the other one.... oh heck, I don't know..... flip a coin, then alternate them once a day.
