I am peeved off....on saturday i went to my botannical gardens and took a shot of a bee and a flower for the "cliche" challenge.

I have already had one comment where a person disbelieved the photo was taken recently because the flower was in bloom and it was obvioulsly taken in summer.

IN NEW ZEALAND IT IS SUMMER.....and thats where i live , its mid summer here.

Please people not everyone lives in the northern hemisphere, being marked down because some people believe the whole world is in winter is pathetic.

AHH feel better now

thanks

Hey, don't feel bad, I'm in the Northern Hemisphere, and the flowers are blooming here too. Anybody who thinks any such pictures aren't taken recently must have their brain frozen, so please try to be understanding of them, some people are experiencing rough weather.

I'm in the northern hemisphere, Arizona, and it's bright and sunny every day here. I don't think we've had a wintery day yet, so I can understand your displeasure.

I feel your pain but maybe you should send a private message to this person and inform him or her. I also think this should be a Rant Thread.

Some of you might want to drop admin a note to post a message under your image ... exposure date confirmed during the week of ... Just a thought. You're right some people think only the US exists.

"some people think only the US exists."

Some people think only "their regions" exist, not necessarily a particular country. I live in the US...Florida. Lot's of bees and flowers here.

I don't sympathize. You live in New Zealand. I want to live there and I'm stuck in Texas. Pooh on you for not taking a photo of a cat!

:p

Me too! Did you see my dog photos?
(Memorial Park)

You wouldn't think it was winter by those photos.

I got it Magnetic9999 :) I was attempting humor. It probably would not have played well in my "region" either

I think the date of the image should be posted to all photos during voting one of this weeks winners was taken in October. How can we know it should be DQ during the time of voting if the exposure date isn't available at time of voting?

Hoogie,

Perhaps when people see an image as good as yours it is easy to think it wasn't taken during the challenge week, especially given today's sad DQ of last week's winner.

We are all just jealous!
