Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 16-85 f/3.5-5.6G ED VR

Anybody interested in this if we can ever get some weather that isn't grey and yucky like it has been for the last month? I live about 2 hr drive from there. I been meaning to get over there anyway. Saturday or a Sunday.

we had one in July '04 and it was a good time (except for the rain). I'd be up for it, if my schedule allows. My preference would be when it warms up a bit though.

We had one last May. I really enjoyed the last one and would be up for another sometime. Maybe we could catch more of locals who missed this time.

I agree. Not only warmer but longer daylight hours also. May sounds good to me as long as it's not Memorial day week. I'll be in South Texas that week.

I would be interested. Although, my vote would be for warmer weather, but I am flexible. Any particular location? We could do a photo crawl kinda like a pub crawl, pick a few different locations i.e. downtown, Grant Park, lakefront and Lincoln Park Zoo. Just a thought.

I'm in! Well depending on when. I live in Waukegan during the week and most weekends I go to see my wife and daughter in Kentucky but there are a few weekends I have here...like this upcoming one (7-8). I have a photo buddy that has been wanting to make a little trip down town and we probably will this weekend depending on the weather and what not.

My work schedule involves me working 7pm-7am on this coming saturday so early that day or sometime sunday would be good.

(Spring would be good too...I will be moving from here in like July or August so let's do one before that k!)

btw...I tried to stop last night (1030) and take a photo of the city from the area between the aquarium and planitarium (like these...

but the fog was so low I had a hard time finding the Sears tower then the wind and cold was so bad I just gave up and left, shivered a good 5 minutes after I was back in my car...spring is probably better lol

pitsaman missed out on the last one so I sent a PM...hope we can make it happen.

Tut is in Chicago from the end of may until the end of the year. I'm just planning my trip up for those specific dates in august...

Now that the weather is beginning to warm up, is anybody still interested in this? I see John is also planning to be in the area sometime in August. I can probably do that one to.

Funny - I was just thinking about this just yesterday after seeing the KC GTG pics and seeing the DC GTG coming up on sat. I am in! When though?

I don't know the price, but how about Amtrack? I'm sure someone would be able to meet you downtown.
