If I bought a sigma 500 super flash used, and now it doesnt sync with the camera, and doesnt always fire when I hit test, can Sigma still do warranty work without having a receipt even though I have a blank warranty card?

You would need to contact Sigma to find the answer.

Sigma will say it's a problem with the camera, Canon will say it's a problem with the flash...why I stick with one brand. Good luck though.

Maybe take it as a lesson of buying used equipment, its always a gamble, usually it pays off but sometimes you can get stung. Out of interest how much did you pay for it? I doubt Sigma will warranty repair it if you do not have original proof of purchase.
