| Just out of curiosity, when you recieve a comment about your picture, do you just click all of your comments helpful? Or would you actually read, think about it, and say "yeah that's helpful, I appreciate that"? |

| I check the box for all the comments I received so far. I personally feel that whatever comments that a person left for me helps - one way or another |

If it's a helpful comment, or a good comment I will check the box....
If it's something that says "lame", don't get it....etc. then no... |

Agreed. I find that even the most assinine comments give some sort of insight into what that person was thinking about your photo and the emotive response (good or bad) that it evoked.... Plus, I'm just a friendly guy :P |

if it is something completely idiotic and meaningless then i dont check the box - everything else is helpful in some way or another (well the idiot ones are to but...)
even "lol" is helpful because you know the viewer is emotionally moved by the image imho.
that said someone telling me something wrong with the image is far my helpful than someone laughing at it ;) |

| I always tick every comment as helpful no matter what it says. I think all comments are helpful as they are the persons response to my photo.I also think it encourages people to comment further if comments are checked as helpful :) |

| As most have stated above, yes, I feel that all comments are helpful in at least some way, so I always check them. Out of going on 900 comments, there has been twice that I seriously contemplated not checking, but in the end decided I could still glean some kind of info from them. Plus, to me it is kind of a way of acknowledging that you have read it. Someone took the time to look and comment, I can at least read and acknowledge it. If it is something that is really helpful or above and beyond in some way, I can actually pm the person and thank them. |

| depending on what mood im in i admit i received comments where i really had to push myself to mark it as helpfull, but these occasions are more and more rare, so in the end i always manage to mark it as helpfull BUT there are plenty comments that seem to tell me more about the person that made the comment in one way or another rather than i experience it would improve my photographical qualities |
